IT'S OUR PLACE TO PROTECT. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF) is running a pest control operation to rid a single Waikanae home of termites. The affected property will be fumigated with sulphuryl fluoride gas -- an effective and safe treatment that is used widely and routinely in Australia and the United States. The work is being managed by Australian fumigators who have extensive experience using sulphuryl fluoride for this purpose. A 20-metre exclusion zone will be in place around the house to ensure the operation can be conducted appropriately. However, there are no other restrictions on the public or their movements. It is expected that the fumigation will take place on the weekend of 8 October 2011. However, as the activity is weather dependent, please visit the MAF biosecurity website www.biosecurity.govt.nz for confirmation of fumigation dates and full information about the pest and the treatment. 4061150AA HKCA Social Fundraising Golf Day Friday October 14th Levin Golf Course For Horowhenua-Kapiti Cricket Players (Junior & Senior), Coaches and Game Development Format • Teams of 4 players - Ambrose format -- everyone plays shot from best ball position • Be at Levin Golf Course 10.15 - shotgun start at 11.00 • Social Event, including food, drinks, prize giving, & fundraising auction in clubhouse from 4.00 -- 6.00 Team Entry Fee $140 per team (of 4 - $35 each) -- includes: • Green fees to play • BBQ&abeer/softdrinkat2holes • Golf competitions • Golf Day Prize Table • Post round food in clubhouse • Good social fun Sponsorship Options Naming Rights Sponsor - $2,000 This package includes the following benefits: • Naming Rights for the HKCA Golf Fundraising event • Signage at the 1st tee and the 18th Green (Signage to provide or at their cost) • Includes team entry Fee for Sponsors side at the event • 5 tickets to the One-Day International between the Black Caps and South Africa at Mclean Park, Napier on February 29th 2012 Hole and Tee Signage Sponsorship (Signage to provide or at their cost) ° 1st&6th&10thtees-$200 ° Other tees - $100 ° Greens signage - $100 Team entries & Sponsorship enquiries to: Pods Hood -- firstname.lastname@example.org 027 419 3037 Postal: 740 State Highway 57, RD1, Levin.
